My computer has been having issues lately, first off my cpu has been overheating, after re-applying the thermal paste using a different method It seems within a tolerable range, but in the end will need a non-stock heatsink to square things away.
My ram package has also gone bad, causing my memory to fail and corrupt almost all files on my computer (compressed files) I ended up reformatting my PC and stealing the ram out of my old computer, so for now I'm up and going with 2gigs of ram at 533MHZ, fast shit I know. I backed up some files, which were corrupted and not retrievable, this mostly affects wow patches, so I've been forced to re-download all the patches again which is why you haven't seen me in game lately.
This put a bit of a cramp in my work schedule as you no doubt have noticed the server has gone w/o updates for a few days now, I've also lost my wowtrance source which was synced with the TC2 Repo, so I'll be forced to redo that eventually.
The source for the live realm is on our SVN so there will be no loss of actual functionality or features on the server. My plan is to get back to work here soon, but I'm still monitoring my hardware to make sure this thing isn't going to die on me.
The objective of this post is to simply keep you guys updated on why the realm has been neglected these past few days, things should be back to normal soon enough.
